Pre-launch · founding memberships open

Stop failing prop challenges on loss-limit breaches.

FloorGuard watches your own prop-firm accounts in real time and flattens your positions before equity reaches the firm's daily-loss or max-drawdown floor, with a buffer you choose.

FloorGuard reduces breach risk; it cannot remove it. Price gaps, slippage, weekend opens and platform or API outages can still push an account through a limit. See the FAQ.

How it works

The guard does one job: keep you on the right side of the firm's floor.

Connect your own account

Link the prop accounts you own through your platform's API. Launching with TradeLocker; more platforms are on the roadmap.

Pick your firm and program

Rule presets load the daily-loss reference, reset time and drawdown type (static, end-of-day trailing, intraday trailing) for your program. You can edit every value.

Set your buffer

Choose how much of each allowance to keep in reserve, e.g. trip at 80% of the daily loss instead of 100%.

The guard acts first

When equity crosses your buffered level, FloorGuard closes open positions, cancels pending orders and keeps the account flat until the next reset.

Features

Items marked planned are on the roadmap, not in the first release.

Daily-loss guard

Tracks the firm's actual reference (day-start balance, or the higher of balance and equity) and its reset time zone.

Max-drawdown guard

Static, end-of-day trailing, closed-balance trailing and intraday trailing floors, including lock levels.

Firm rule presets

Presets for popular firms with the source link and the date each rule was last checked. Unverified values are flagged.

Auto-flatten and lockout

Closes positions and blocks new exposure at your buffered level; daily lockouts clear at the firm's reset.

Max position size helper

Shows the largest lot or contract size whose stop-out still keeps you above the floor.

Multi-account dashboard

All your evaluation and funded accounts on one screen with a red / amber / green status.

Alerts planned

Email and Telegram warnings as you approach a limit and when the guard acts.

Local runner planned

For firms that require all trading activity to come from your own device, run the guard on your own machine instead of our servers.

Audit log

Every check, warning and flatten is logged with timestamps, so you can see exactly what happened and why.

FAQ

Is using FloorGuard allowed by my prop firm?

It depends on the firm, so check your firm's current rules before you connect an account. Firms differ on EAs, trade managers and third-party software, and some restrict where orders may come from. For example, Topstep states that all trading activity must originate from your personal device and prohibits VPS, VPNs and remote servers (source). On firms like that, FloorGuard would run alert-only from our servers, and flattening would need the planned local runner on your own device. FloorGuard is not affiliated with or endorsed by any prop firm.

Can I use it on someone else's account?

No. FloorGuard works only on accounts you own and trade yourself. It does not copy signals from or to other people, and it does not manage accounts for third parties. Most firms forbid third-party account management, and so do we.

Does it guarantee I won't breach?

No. FloorGuard sends market close orders when your buffered level is crossed. Fast markets, price gaps, weekend or news opens, slippage, platform outages and API delays can still carry an account through the firm's floor. The buffer exists to absorb some of that, so set it wider for volatile instruments.

Which firms and platforms are supported?

The first release targets TradeLocker accounts. Rule presets cover FTMO, FundedNext, The5ers, E8 Markets, FundingPips, Alpha Capital, Blue Guardian, Topstep and Apex Trader Funding, and you can edit or enter custom rules for any firm. Other platforms are on the roadmap with no committed dates yet.

What do I get as a founding member, and can I get my money back?

The founding membership is pre-launch early access to the Starter plan at $29/month: you're first in when the guard ships (TradeLocker first). Payment is handled by Stripe. It's fully refundable before launch, and you can cancel anytime. See the refund and cancellation terms.

Do you hold my money?

No. FloorGuard never holds funds. It needs API access to your trading account to read equity and close positions. We'll ask for the narrowest access your platform offers.

Is this financial advice?

No. FloorGuard is risk-management software that enforces limits you configure. It does not tell you what to trade.

What is the free calculator?

A prop firm rules checker and drawdown calculator that runs entirely in your browser. Pick a firm and enter your numbers to see how much room you have left before the daily-loss and max-drawdown limits, and the largest position that keeps you safe at a given stop.
